Goldie is one of the two alpacas we started out with. She is a Bueno granddaughter and maple Brook Nomar daughter. Although short, her fiber has a nice hand to it with guard hair only on her chest. Her daughters are Misty (white), Sassey Autumn Rose (rose gray) and Tea Biscuit (lt. fawn). Summer (white) was her only male cria.
Goldie is a proven Mom, 81/2 yrs. old, with good conformation. Even when bred to a white male who normally has white offspring, she tries to throw color. However, you never really know what to expect. We liked Sassey so much, we rebred Goldie to the same male, expecting maybe a black or gray cria. Tea Biscuit is a light fawn, maybe a white and light fawn multi-color. I've never been able to tell for sure. But her fleece is super soft.

This is one of Sassey Autumn Rose's cria pictures. She has gotten darker, with a lot more white in her coat. She is a rose gray. Nic Nac is her grandfather.

This is Summer, Goldie's only male cria. His fleece was absolutely gorgeous!
Alpacas are very curious.
The alpacas are fascinated by little people! This is Mari-Noel checking out my youngest grandson - and the dachshund. Mari-Noel is a Hemingway's Tequila's daughter out of my Marilyn.
Marilyn is the matriarch of the herd. She's in the back on the left. Her daughter, Mari-Noel, is on the front left. Goldie is in the back on the right. Her daughter, Misty, is in front. This was taken a few years ago, Marilyn is now retired and enjoying the good life.
